Sharing is caring

I have been noticing in the comments and show of support from readers that there are many others of you out there who have also been hit by unemployment in the past or currently are in the same position as me.

So I thought that I would open my blog up to my readers for you to disclose any amusing moments from your unemployment, any disaster interviews that you've been to or basically just anything you would like to share with us all about your hunt for a new job.

Email me.

Open up.

I need to feel like I am not alone.

Yes, you're right, I am going to guilt trip you in to sharing your stories with me. I'll post them up (and of course a link to you if you let me know who you are) and we can all be one big happy family.

Let's make unemployment fun!

I'm waiting.

Shame hon! But sometimes being in a job that is truly horrid and making you super unhappy just isn't worth it :(

You are not alone! For the past 5 months I've been doing my best to start my own business. Difficult when no one wants to give you the time of day :(

Still... I've started watching Neighbours again. And Home and Away. Smallville. One Tree Hill

Crap! Whats happened to me?? xx

I had someone send a letter of recommendation for a job I really wanted. The letter refered to me as Elizabeth once and Tammy once.

Since the employer obviously thought I suffer from split personality, they did not give me the job. Figures.

I'm working as a temp for the moment, so every day I still have a job is a day I'm breathing a sigh of relief!

In the past year or so i've done many interviews... I've been knocked back for being too motivated, speaking too fast, having too much experience, etc etc.

I think I'm doomed to stay in my current job... and if you knew who I worked for, you'd feel sorry for me too!
